Happy 2012! I started off the new year performing at the 92nd St Y's Guitar Marathon as part of the New York Guitar Festival. What a beautiful hall to play in! Had a blast performing some duos with guitarist Jason Vieaux and a set of solo pieces by Emilia Giuliani.

My new site is finally live! I hope you'll check back frequently for updates on my tour schedule, multimedia samples, and blog entries. Plans are underway to start recording my second CD, The Woman's Voice: Original Music for Classical Guitar by Female Composers. I am so excited about this project - it is a goal of mine to give women a greater voice in two areas where they have been traditionally overlooked: in classical guitar and composition. Somehow this project has come to fruition at just the right time and I'm hoping to play this program for audiences across the country and beyond!

This has been a jampacked month! I just finished my Doctorate of Musical Arts degree at USC after three years of classes, concerts, lectures, practicing, and amazing study under LAGQ member William Kanengiser and regular master classes with Pepe Romero. I'm really going to miss the USC guitar community.
